Steam Patch 12.12.2025 - Skill XP Gains , Trading Posts and Ethyrial API
Steam Patch 12.12.2025
Skill XP Gain
- Bumped up skill XP gain as a % of damage/healing/damage taken, let us know how this feels vs. before.
- Multiple monsters, when killed, now have a gatherable corpse. This corpse has a chance to give materials which can be consumed for XP in: Light Armor, Medium Armor, and Heavy Armor.
- We will continue to add more methods and strategies to control how to gain Skill XP, keep sharing your feedback!
FOR TESTING: Trading Post + Banking
- Trading Post Clerks have been added for testing in the West Edrivine Market Square, near the leyline.
- We've done some extensive testing on the system and would like to open it up for broad feedback.
- The trading post is not perfect, so please only buy/sell items for testing purposes for now.
New Chest Armor Enchants
- Three new chest armor enchantments have been added to the Blood Lord's Cache loot table. One for DPS, Tank, and Healers.
Ethyrial API
- @iShot - Spin To Win has put together an alpha Ethyrial API, which will enable creation and update of 3rd party database websites, build creators, & more. If you have built something awesome and need access, please reach out!
Misc
- Reworked how terrain chunks are loaded to be far faster - still noticing bugs here and will keep improving.
- Training Grounds has been made accessible again via the Arcane Orb in Farwood.
- 1v1 and 2v2 Arenas have been made accessible to queue again for testing - let us know if you encounter any issues or bugs.
- Player Mouseover Tooltip has been fixed.
- Research Info should no longer get stuck un-updated when advancing research levels for a monster.
- Gatherable corpses should now show the context menu option to gather.
- Crits had a flaw in their logic and were ignoring armor, this has been corrected.
- Deadlands has had some buffs and adjustments to make the area more interesting.
- Set Bonus tooltip text has been updated to remove the +, which was confusing.
- Max Cast Time has been set to 3x the base cast time, which will prevent massive cast times while encumbered.
- Using the Giant's Ring will now teach the trinket recipes.
- T9 damage enchants have had their tooltips updated to clarify that the damage scales slightly with the player's level.
- Player and monster movespeed has been slightly increased, we still felt it wasn't perfect despite saying last time it was just right. We'll keep working to dial it in!
Thanks for supporting development and as always, let us know your feedback / ideas / roasts on Discord⭐ I LOVE Ethyrial ⭐ I HATE Ethyrial
